Introduction to the Decimal System (Cards) – Primary Montessori Math

Heather Brostron, primary directress (preschool/kindergarten teacher) at OakHaven Montessori School in O’Fallon, MO, demonstrates to a group of parents how she would introduce the decimal system cards (symbols) to a small child. Preschool and kindergarten age children (in OakHaven’s primary program) receive this lesson from one of our AMI trained teachers, which:
